ABOUT ME

Untitled_edited.jpg

Hello, I'm Juliet (she/her).

I’m a qualified counsellor with a deep commitment to helping people explore, understand, and heal from life’s challenges.

I offer both long-term and short-term therapy, as well as Bereavement Counselling.

I work face-to-face in Leeds, also offering sessions online and by telephone.

My counselling journey was shaped by my training and volunteering with Cruse Bereavement Support and the St Giles Trust, where I supported individuals coping with grief, trauma, and complex life transitions. These experiences affirmed something I’ve always believed: that humans are made to communicate, and when we do so in a safe, supportive space, incredible change is possible.

I’ve seen firsthand how therapy can help people not only survive difficult times but also rediscover themselves, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. It’s a privilege to walk alongside people as they make sense of their experiences and emotions.

A key aspect of my approach is fostering self-awareness and understanding. I believe that when we begin to truly understand ourselves, our thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and patterns, we unlock the potential for lasting change. Whether you’re dealing with grief, anxiety, low self-esteem, or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers a space where you can be heard without judgment and explore what’s going on beneath the surface.

My role is to support you with empathy, honesty, and care, wherever you are on your journey.

If you feel that you could benefit from speaking to a down-to-earth, friendly therapist, then please do get in touch. I understand the importance of finding a counsellor that you can trust and feel comfortable with.
